CRUSTACEA
The Crustacea phylum is perhaps best known as the scavenger, hard-shelled, cleaner crew and nonetheless interesting as they can be. They have beautiful colors ranging from red, yellow, green to bluish and although most species were captured and served as expensive delicacies, most aquarists instead prefer to put them on display in reef tanks. The majority of crustacea form symbiotic relationship with the anemones and in fact very few are known to be destructive and incompatible with the Cnidaria families. One common characteristics of this group is that they molt leaving skeleton shells whenever they grow.
The crabs, lobsters, prawns and shrimps are four of the most important groups that are commonly heard that made up the Crustacea community. Their sizes can vary considerably depending on the species. Some can be very tiny measuring less than an inch while there are indeed giant big ones likewise they would have made excellent aquarium pets.
